Sizing and modification differences between Dignity Fashions and DbD:
All DbD® For the WheelchairMobile….this apparel is modified to include: Additional width built into the back of Tops and Jackets Additional length built into back of trousers’ rise (for seating comfort) No back pockets or embellishments (eliminating bulk and seam pressure) Added Length to trousers. Full hook & loop closures (see product description).
DignityFashions® …uses standard sizing with modifications built slightly into the garment for ease and application.
PLEASE NOTE: Great effort has been made to offer EXACT sizing. Our chart may measure a larger size than you may be accustomed to ordering. We apologize to the vanity in all of us, however our products are created with your assurance for fit – each and every time!
Men
Chest: Measure around the fullest part of the chest, under the arms and across the shoulder blades.
Waist: Measure around waist (keeping tape loose) at the height preferred for wearing the waistband.
Inseam: Standing, measure from the crotch down to ideal hem length, If wheelchair bound, add an extra 2″ for adjustment when seated.
Women
Bust: Measure around the fullest part of the bust, under the arms and across the shoulder blades.
Waist: Measure around the smallest circumference at waist (keeping tape loose).
Hips: Stand with feet together, measure largest circumference at hips.
Inseam: Standing, measure from the crotch down to ideal hem length. If a wheelchair user, add an extra 2″ for adjustment when seated. (For the wheelchair – we have already made this adjustment!)
